Synopsis: Dr. Cedric Stier, a former classmate and rival Marc Meier, bring the fever of competition at the Hospital. He should be Freddie, a clinically dead patient, for a heart transplant. But the wife of the patient disagrees.
Between him and Dr. Meier begins the great struggle of competition and as Gretchen is angry with Marc is also involved. She also wants to be a real surgeon and that means: to be ice. But being on the ice is not safe Gretchen. Just before the operation, Gretchen suspect that the donor is far from being clinically dead.
